Tribos Peri Peri is the creation of restaurateur Lubna Ismail, inspired by sauces originally crafted at family barbecues.
Peri Peri cuisine centers around the African Bird’s-eye chili pepper. For many years, this rare pepper was hidden in Southern Africa until Portuguese explorers discovered it in the 20th century. They infused their dishes with the pepper’s irresistible flavors, igniting taste buds worldwide.

Tribos Peri Peri is the brainchild of restaurateur, Lubna Ismail, whose sauces were first conceived at barbecues with family and friends.
Peri peri is a cuisine based off of the African Bird’s-eye chili pepper. I’ve been coming here for a few years now. It’s my mom’s favorite restaurant. The food is always good, the place is always clean. The guy who helped us was Muhammad, he was so kind- very patient. Please give this place a try. The platters are good for large groups, but even then, we order it and look forward to the leftovers!
